Yep minetown server checks if your copy is legal and your login and passwords are correct. thats why i goes to minecraft.net server to check your login and password and legality of your software. one reason why you dont need to verify your login when you are already playing. But since the server is down the minecraft join script gives you an error. and thats the 503 that you usualy see.

Ok i resolved the problem. Its not if you downloaded the latest. The minecraft.net server which handles the logins does not work properly. on point you would join a server you will have to check server logins on minecraft login server it self. but this gives us bugs. not sure if its a problem by minecraft server or our servers problem. but i guess thats where the problem is.

I tried those and still doesn't work. i currently was able to login but it sometimes goes back to that. and i do have the current minecraft client.

I usualy can login with out any problems but today ive been unable to login at all. it always says internet client error. mostly about java and stuffs. and it always fails. any idea how to resolve this? i have a windows 7 OS, windows minecraft client 1.3_01, its a legal copy.
